Working mothers looking for more flexibility, demanding more from their employers amid burnout | New York Times
CLEVELAND — There has been recovery from the significant hit working mothers took early in the pandemic, but there were still fewer mothers of school-age children in the U.S. labor force in January of 2022 compared to January of 2020.
The economist David Rosenberg says it’s not just possible but likely that the U.S. economy will fall into a recession this year, partly because, he says, the Federal Reserve will go too far in raising interest rates to fight inflation, which is at a 40-year high.
