Purchasing Specialist in Mesa, Arizona

LHH is currently seeking a Purchasing Specialist for our client in Mesa, AZ.


This is a great Contract-to-Hire opportunity to grow and expand your knowledge in purchasing and supply chain. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of purchasing experience, excellent communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams. We love to look at experienced individuals with any type of vendor management and logistical coordination backgrounds!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong relationships and communication with vendors
  • Create, process and manage purchase orders to meet sales demand
  • Maintain orders and inventory
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to optimize ISO processes
  • Integrate cross-functional projects with other departments
  • Create invoices and assist with billing
  • Request PO information and provide updates
  • Expedite certan materials and purchases when necessary
  • Organize moving items within a spreadsheet

    • Requirements:

  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • 1 - 2 years of Purchasing experience
  • Adept communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Work collaboratively with the team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

    • Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday
  • 8am - 5pm
  • 40 hours a week
  • Once convert to a perm employee TONS of OVERTIME!!!

    • PAY: $22- $27/hr
